The Eternal Conflict

"Whoever wins... we lose."
-20th Century Fox

The previous miniatures in this little vignette series have been basic old Warhammer miniatures, but these two maybe deserve a teeny bit of extra attention. The vampire is a simple conversion I'm quite pleased with: a mordheim vampire, but with his awkward halberd-hand replaced with a plastic zombie hand. A vampire can kill you with his bare hand, he doesn't need a dumb blade on a stick!

The lycanthrope is unconverted, but he's one of the few miniatures I have where I don't have any clue as to the manufacturer. Maybe some sort of Werewolf: the Apocalypse range? A few minutes of googling turned up nothing. Nice, big and textury though.

Both these guys deserve daylight pics when I get the chance, I think. Maybe some touchups before then...

  1. Nice. Always a good idea to make your ranges pull double duty. When I get my Cuirassiers ordered, I might see if they will fit on the Hippogriff I got from my now defunct Empire army for Warhammer fantasy.

    1. Ooh, that would be neat. Magnets?

    2. That's what I am thinking. I am going to order the guys eventually, so might as well see if it will work. The regular (warlord games) cav buff coats wont just will not allow them to sit in the deep saddles of the hippogriffs. At least with out doing some surgery on the models.
