Wintry Witchfinder

My original plan was to reveal these models over the course of a gameplay post, but the tables here are still cluttered with holiday stuff, I still haven't remembered to print out the witchfinder tokens, and I'm just generally impatient.

So here is the most powerful witch of all, with a pair of summonable minions:

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

"Hi Sven's family! It's nice to meet you!"

"Hi everyone, I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!"

And here's a quick WiP shot. I built the snowmen from unpopped popcorn kernels, foam scraps and Warhammer dryad arms.

  1. Like what you did with that old GA min. You know you might also be able to get away with making the Blood countess. Can not remember her name.
Will you be making a large snowman?
And I think some of the jagged old Vox shard miss might make decent Icemen.
What rules are you going to us for the snowmen?

  2. Thanks!

Marshmellow, the giant angry snowman, is another thing I intended to have in this post before getting too impatient. I definitely will make him eventually, I just haven't yet.

In the Witchfinder rules, the witch's weakest possible minions have the stats of regular humans. Better rolling can get her a barguest or two (i.e. reindeer, in this case), and the best possible result is a single Great Beast, which would ideally be represented by Marshmellow.

http://spoonybardiche.blogspot.com/2014/12/he-chose.html is probably the only "blood countess" I'll paint up, unless I get inspired to put together a rigorously historical Erzsebet Bathory...

  3. Nice, I think these guys might also make some good giant snowmen. http://ironwindmetals.com/store/index.php?cPath=94_96

I might do some thing similar with Seelie Court and the Unseelie Court. Need to do some more research into them.
